Moving forward: SIAD's 2011 Overseas Trade Mission

Moving towards another SIAD overseas trade mission, let's first go through last year's statistics and details. SIAD attended Turkiye World Trade Bridge 2010 on June 14 and 20, 2010 in Istanbul. The event was organized under the coordination of the Turkish Primer Minister H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdogan's Undersecretariat for Foreign Trade of Turkiye (today’s Ministry of Economics) and in cooperation with Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye.


TWTB 2010 hosted AAA ministers and acting ministers, 2.300 businesspeople from 136 different countries. It also welcomed 2200 Turkish companies, including 343 exhibitors. 1.600 interpreters speaking 42 different languages helped the participant during B2B meetings.

This year's event will be covering more businesspeople and countries however the event will be targeting only a number of sectors, bringing more targeted and relevant business communities together.
